Asbestos remediation

Asbestos remediation

Certified removal of asbestos, chromium-6, ceramic wool and radioactive sources. Safe and compliant with all regulations.

Hazardous materials call for specialists, not improvisation. DCC specialises in remediating harmful materials in an industrial environment — often while the surrounding installation stays in operation. Our certified remediation specialists work to the strictest safety standards.

What we remediate

  • Asbestos, in every risk class
  • Chromium-6 in coatings and steel structures
  • Ceramic wool and mineral fibres
  • Process residues and chemical contamination
  • Radioactive sources

From inventory to clearance

Every remediation project starts with an inventory and a plan: what is where, what risk does it carry and how do we contain the work area? We then remediate under controlled conditions, with the right control measures, and only release the area after a final inspection. Released materials are disposed of responsibly and traceably.

Working with hazardous materials demands demonstrable competence — see our certifications.

Asbestos remediation

Which hazardous materials does DCC remediate?

Asbestos in all risk classes, chromium-6 in coatings and steel, ceramic wool and mineral fibres, process residues and chemical contamination, and radioactive sources.

Is DCC certified for asbestos removal?

Yes. We work under the legally required Dutch process certificate for asbestos removal and its regulations; clearance is carried out by an independent laboratory. See our certifications page for the overview.

Can remediation take place while the installation stays in operation?

In many cases, yes. The work area is contained and remediated under controlled conditions so that production around it can continue. We agree this beforehand in the remediation plan.

How does a remediation project proceed?

Inventory and plan, containment of the work area, remediation with the right control measures, final inspection and clearance, and traceable disposal of the material. You receive the accompanying documentation.
