Inner-city
Demolition of housing blocks, flats, shopping centres and healthcare property in the heart of the city. Down to the square metre, with residents and traffic a few metres away and minimal disruption.
The big work, in the middle of the neighbourhood
Our heart lies with complete housing blocks, flats, shopping centres and healthcare property — often in a densely built neighbourhood where life simply goes on. That is exactly where everything comes together: phased release of buildings, residents and shops that stay open, traffic a few metres away and adjoining buildings that remain in use. We plan the demolition around that, with buffer buildings, structural reinforcements and tight control of vibration, dust and noise.
Proven in Rotterdam and Spijkenisse
In Rotterdam’s Afrikaanderwijk we demolished around 600 homes in one of the busiest neighbourhoods of the city, including asbestos removal and with maximum reuse of materials. At the Kolkplein in Spijkenisse a complete retail complex disappeared from the busy town centre while the surrounding shops stayed open and the new construction had already started.
Circular and neatly handed over
Released material streams are separated at source and disposed of as circularly as possible. Neighbourhood communication, demolition notifications and permits are arranged beforehand. The result: a clean, levelled site ready for the next phase.
