We first look at what still has value. Installations, structures and materials are carefully dismantled for reuse or sale; the remaining streams are separated and recycled instead of going straight into the container.
Does circular demolition earn money?
Often, yes. Through our residual-value brokerage we sell usable parts, installations and metals, so the proceeds cover part of the demolition costs. At the same time you reduce your environmental impact.
How do I know what happened to the material?
You get insight into which streams were reused, recycled or disposed of. That is directly usable for your own sustainability reporting.
When should I include circular demolition in the planning?
As early as possible. Choices in the planning phase determine what can still come out of a building or installation intact; that is why we include it in our consultancy and inventory.
