Anyone who has driven on the Spijkenisse Bridge from April 2018 to May 2018 has probably seen our colored crane at work.
Indeed, at the former Reinis site in Spijkenisse, we have prepared the area for new housing construction. In addition to the existing new homes, a number of other homes are planned. After all, living along the Oude Maas in the Port of Spijkenisse is beautiful. Say it:

With our crawler crane, equipped with large demolition hammer, we cut into the floor and then demolished it, and we removed all the foundations of the buildings.
We crushed the loose debris, separated it, and the usable material was ground into certified repac using a special machine. This material is mainly used for the construction of temporary construction roads and permanent asphalt roads.
Although the foundations to be demolished were in the clear, we still had to consider the surrounding area. We took several traffic measures to divert cyclists and pedestrians.
In fact, demolition of the foundation piles had to be done individually to prevent subsidence of the soil. We excavated each pile individually, demolished it and filled the hole left behind with soil already present.
Because it was previously found that the soil under the foundations was contaminated, it had to be remediated. The soil remediation took 1 week. Currently, several pumps and filters are still at work to also remediate the contaminated groundwater. This is expected to be finished in the 2019 construction period. The active work took a total of 5 weeks. We can again say with confidence: Your project, efficiently executed.
