Industrial relocation in the Rotterdam area

When moving (parts of) a factory, production hall, or machine, we refer to this as an industrial relocation. These are often complex relocations that require extensive planning before they can be carried out.

We distinguish between two different types of industrial relocations.

Internal industrial relocation

When a specific piece of equipment needs to be dismantled and reassembled elsewhere within the factory, we refer to this as an internal industrial relocation. We take care of the dismantling; the lifting plan and the lifting work; the transport plan and the transport; and the assembly at the new location.

External industrial relocation

When a large industrial facility is relocated to another location, we also take care of the dismantling, transport, and reassembly of the installations and equipment. Is it a large machine or installation? Then we also apply for the necessary exemptions for transport and draw up detailed lifting plans to ensure that the installations are lifted as safely as possible.

Hoisting work and hoisting plans

Hoisting is an activity that always involves significant risks. It is therefore a legal requirement that we draw up comprehensive hoisting plans – also known as heavy lifting plans – in advance of carrying out any hoisting work. Because safe hoisting starts with a well-thought-out hoisting plan.

In a lifting plan, we collect data that includes all the conditions and steps required to carry out the lifting work correctly and thereby guarantee the safety of the employees, among other things.

We also always try to maximize the use of the crane. With a well-written plan, you know in advance what to expect, the crane is idle as little as possible, and there are few unforeseen situations.

Hazardous substances during an industrial relocation
