Should I have asbestos removed by a certified asbestos removal company?
Yes, as a business, you must have asbestos removed by a company certified in accordance with the asbestos removal process certificate. We are certified and therefore we are allowed to help you remove asbestos from your premises.
What needs to be taken care of before asbestos can be removed?
First, the (demolition) notification must be requested from the municipality no later than four weeks in advance. With this notification it must be clear what the plan is and always an asbestos inventory must be drawn up and sent along with the notification.
An asbestos inventory is not performed by us. In fact, we never conduct an inventory but we may commission a company to do so. And remediate based on that report.

Exception to the rule: housing associations
A housing corporation may have asbestos removal work done as soon as five days after notifying the municipality if they meet the following conditions:
- The property must be demolished due to an emergency or immediate need.
- It involves maintenance or repair work where the regular four-week period causes obstruction to the surrounding area or that the property is left unnecessarily vacant.
- It involves asbestos-containing materials or applications in the home or property.
- It is also mandatory to have an asbestos inventory performed.
Do you meet the conditions? Then we can help your housing corporation with the demolition plan, the notification to the municipality, but of course also with the removal of the asbestos-containing materials.
When does asbestos not have to be removed?
If the asbestos in your employees' workplace does not pose a risk, you can leave the asbestos in place. However, it is then mandatory to have an asbestos management plan prepared.
The above applies only if there are no renovation or demolition plans. In the plan, we lay out how the building can be used safely by the staff present.

1. We come to you
After receiving the asbestos inventory report, we make an appointment. During this appointment, we answer any questions and view the property.
2. Making the offer
After our appointment, we will provide a detailed quote for the removal of the asbestos. We are happy to visit you to explain the quote and answer any questions you may have. We can also explain why this plan of action is the right one for your home or building.
3. Setting the schedule
After our quote is approved, we make a clear schedule. That way we both know when what work will be performed.
4. Removing the asbestos
On the agreed dates, we get to work removing the asbestos. Here we follow our plan of action so that the asbestos is safely remediated.
5. Disposal of the asbestos
The asbestos has been removed. We clean up the asbestos so that the property is safe for your employees and/or tenants to enter again.

It is difficult to name the cost of asbestos remediation in advance. This is because it varies by project and where the asbestos-containing materials are located. Therefore, we cannot say in advance how much asbestos removal will cost.
